SPARK Challenge is an electronic design competition which is organized by Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department, University of Moratuwa. The challenge aimed to provide solutions to solve global issues based on the SDGs proposed by the United Nations. Our team (Team Axon) supposed a Pediatric anesthesia monitoring device (CAMSAT) that is capable of monitoring pediatrics during surgeries. More than 100 teams were registered for the competition and ten teams among them were selected as the finalists. Our team (Team Axon) was able to get second place in the SPARK challenge - 21/22 See more...

An IoT-empowered system for Patient Monitoring and Diagnosing -2021
IEEE EMBS International Student Conference - Moratuwa
PMDD is a cost-effective wearable mass patient surveillance system that has a unique potential to monitor patients while being at a safe distance from the patients hence, minimize the exposure risk of healthcare workers to the virus. Our team thoroughly believe that this user-friendly system will be a game-changer in the mass monitoring of patients in pandemics or outbreaks, especially in resource-constraint environments. Our future project development plans are ongoing now. See more...
Deep learning-based prediction of Autism in children based on facial morphology -2021
IEEE EMBS International Student Conference - Moratuwa
Our research project is based on neural networks to efficiently search the neural markers of anomalous craniofacial processing for the early detection and diagnosis of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). We are developing machine-learning algorithm based on neural networks to achieve expected results and a mobile application for visualizing and publishing purposes. See more...
Comparative statistical prediction for analyzing epidemiology of COVID-19 -2021
International Research Conference - Sri Lanka Technological Campus
The global pandemic of COVID-19 has severely affected multifaceted streams of the world as an unavoidable challenge. Though it is apparent to observe that the regional communities implement several inclusive processes to overcome this obvious threat, the absolute need for addressing cognitive decisions will not be cohesively satisfied as a direct result of the complex matrix of SARS-CoV-2 in the pandemic format. In this paper, we propose a system for analyzing the Characteristics of Epidemiological Curve in COVID-19 by utilizing a Statistical Prediction which is developed conferring SIS-SIR model, Dirichlet process model and the Interpretive Structural Model.
