Laura
Laura is an 11 year old violin and cello player. She will be starting high school next year and is looking forward to joining the orchestra. Laura has been homeschooled until now and has never been in an orchestra setting before. She plays regularly at her church and enjoys performing. Laura is a dedicated student who practices regularly and has shown great improvement in her lessons so far. Her mother was formerly employed part-time, but has had to leave work due to health concerns. Laura’s family is currently struggling to afford her lessons now that they are living on a single income. Laura has been contributing to her own tuition with money she earns doing house and yard work in her neighborhood.
I am currently teaching her at a reduced rate to accommodate what her family can afford. Please consider contributing to Laura’s tuition with a monthly recurring sponsorship.

Nikki
Nikki is an adult student who has been taking cello lessons with me for about six months. Her cello lessons are therapeutic for her depression and have made a positive impact on her daily quality of life. She recently had to take leave from her demanding job for health reasons and is temporarily struggling to afford her lessons. She is currently on a “pay what you can” plan for her monthly tuition.
Help Nikki continue her cello therapy while she regains her health.

Katy
Katy is an 8 year old violin and piano player from Taiwan. Her family recently relocated to Washington for her father’s job. She is a musically talented kid who devotes above-average time and focus to her music studies. She has been taking violin lessons for about a year, originally studying with a teacher in Taiwan. While she enjoys her piano studies, she is very excited to play an orchestral instrument so she can make music with others. Katy’s family intended to quit her violin lessons due to financial strain. The combined impact of increased living costs and going from a dual-income to single-income household was forcing them to choose between piano and violin.
I am currently teaching Katy on a “pay what you can” model. Support Katy’s goal to play in an orchestra with a monthly contribution.
