Paper transit tickets have now been replaced with Arc Cards. You tap in when you enter a ride and tap out when you exit. Once you reach $385 tapping, you can ride the rest of the year for free! You can also apply for a discount based on your income (see eligibility) or opt for the Leisure Access Program, which includes the Ride Transit Program!

ETS and LRT transit stations also have refill stations!

What transit can I take?
ETS TRIP PLANNER (BUS)
This bus system can take you anywhere within Edmonton City Limits. Maps of bus routes can be found here. Printed brochures are available in Edmonton Public Libraries, West Edmonton Mall, and the Grey Nuns Community Hospital.
The train is useful in many downtown areas and if you travel to South or Northeast Edmonton!
STAT (ST. ALBERT) & STRATHCONA COUNTY TRANSIT
These are the best buses if you wish to travel from Edmonton to St. Albert (STAT) or Strathcona County.
DATS service is available to residents of Edmonton who cannot use regular transit because of a physical and/or cognitive disability. On-demand buses offer rides to senior residences and can be called to anywhere in Edmonton.
This ride program is entirely volunteer-based and exclusively for seniors! Apply to be a rider or a driver.
Greater Edmonton Taxi Service offers a seniors program with special rates.
This Edmonton charity delivers fresh and frozen meals for a low cost! (780.429.2020)
ONLINE GROCERY DELIVERY
Major stores like Superstore, Walmart, Save-on-Foods, Sobeys, and Safeway have online delivery services. You may need to create an account with that store by providing your address and postal code, and a valid credit card.
