I am currently an Environmental Scientist in the Air Quality Bureau at the New Mexico Environment Department in Santa Fe, NM! In this role, I perform air dispersion modeling for permitting, smoke management, and research purposes. 

This sector change comes after a rich academic career in environmental engineering (BS and MS, Gujarat Technological University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), atmospheric science (PhD, Colorado State University), and postdoctoral research in public policy and climate science (the University of Wisconsin-Madison). I am interested in solving problems people face using science and technology.

I am also currently a Honorary Fellow in atmospheric science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I contribute on an ad-hoc basis to Earth system modeling problem-solving.
