Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion is a unique facility, integrating a complex building program into Seattle’s dynamic urban context. The project was initiated over a decade ago with the design of the physical building starting in 2016. Within the last four years the project has received and incorporated feedback from its stakeholders (the public, local tribes, the city, county and the state of Washington and the Waterfront community) working together to create ITERATIONS of the transformative civic project for the public realm.
