My research interests are in broader areas of cyber security, especially intersecting cryptography, FPGA hardware design, and computer architecture. I have worked on the efficient FPGA implementations of lightweight cryptography (LWC) and post-quantum cryptography (PQC). For LWC, I have implemented authenticated encryption and hash functions, finalist candidates of the NIST standardization competition, by proposing several optimisation strategies. These implementations find applications ranging from smart cities to blockchain. I have worked on the fault tolerant implementations of PQC suitable for space applications. All these works have been published in leading journals and conferences such as IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Embedded Systems Letters and IEEE VLSI SoC. I have worked as a Research Assistant working on LWC at Hongik University, Republic of Korea. I received global scholarship to continue my Ph.D. at Gachon University, Republic of Korea. I have also worked as a Research Fellow at the Centre of Secure Information Technologies (CSIT), Queen’s University Belfast, working on the EPSRC Quantum Communications Hub project.
