TRAINING AND ACCREDITATION
The Safe Steps Initiative training and accreditation program is available for independent dance instructors and dance studios, with video, live virtual, and in-person training available for individuals and groups.
Why Safe Steps? Your Safe Steps Initiative accreditation establishes you as a a leader in dance and the global movement to create a safe and positive dance community. By committing to putting your dancers' well-being ahead of personal gain, and setting up safe and supportive dance spaces, you help lay the foundation for dancers of all ages to flourish on and off the stage, one step at a time.
How accreditation works: Book your training session by contacting the Safe Steps Initiative through the button below. Complete the training and take the online quiz. A grade of 80% or higher is required for accreditation. Once the quiz is completed and a passing grade of 80% is met, you will receive your accreditation certificate and your studio will be notified of your completion.
