I am having an issue getting a driver to work for a SafeNet iKey 4000 on a Dell Latitude D630 and D830. This a a USB "thumdrive" device... I believe it is conflicting with the O2 Micro SmartCard Reader or the Biometric fingerprint scanner that is built-in. I have aquired the latest driver from SafeNet and tried installing... It says it is updating the driver and then it says "a newer version of the program is already installed on your system"... I am running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and am trying to use the 64 bit driver. We plug this device into other Dell systems (PC type - not laptop - also Windows 7 Pro 64 bit) and it automatically loads the drivers and works like a charm... Thanks in advance for any help on this one!

This document contains instructions for installing your Gemalto Sentinel SuperPro key so that you can use hardware-locked CrossWorks licenses. You only need to install the Sentinel drivers if you have purchased a 'Shared' developer license with a Sentinel SuperPro key.

Download the 'Sentinel Driver' from here. At the time of writing, the Sentinel driver for Windows is at version 7.6.0 described as 'Sentinel System Driver Installer for Sentinel SuperPro, UltraPro and SHK'

I use a HASP key for unlocking software for a specific software I use for work. But less than a month ago there was a Windows 10 update that made the HASP key stop working. It also doesn't work on my new Windows 11 laptop. The company who makes the keys supposedly has an update driver but that doesn't work either and the software company doesn't know of any fix yet and it is critical for it to work as it is for Fire Life Safety.

Dear Sir,

We have discovered that the HASP dongle for Win10/11 , can't use the latest Sentinel Drivers . Uninstall the current drivers and install Version 8.11 from May 2020

Access to this drivers are found here:

Already Tried this and it did not work. The software program I use that requires the HASP key still does not recognize the HASP key. I think it may be a software updated needed with their drivers but I have not received any answers.

Before you can access the Document Signing Certificate on your token and use it to sign documents, you need to activate the token, download and install the SafeNet driver for your token, and obtain and change your token password.

Having the SafeNet drivers on your computer lets you enable document signer authentication. Once enabled, SafeNet pops up before you sign a document and requires you to enter your password to verify that you are the actual signer.

We have a iKey 2032 that successfully connects and gets redirected to the Virtual Machine. The machine see the device and downloads the drivers successfully in Device Manager. The Safenet Application Client 10.2 doesn't see that the device is plugged in even though the Windows machine sees the device.

But the main problem is: after importing X.509 certificate into the token (using iKey Token Utility), I can't read certificate details in my C++ application, as I need these to know which user is using my application, i.e user identity. However, with the "iKey Token Utility", which comes with the token driver, it is possible to view the certificate details. I couldn't find source code of that utility anywhere, also pkcs11.h library doesn't have any functions related to reading certificate details. For me, it would be just helpful to read public key value (not its handle) of the certificate.

DriverGuide maintains an extensive archive of drivers available for free download. We employ a team from around the world which adds hundreds of new drivers to our site every day. How to Install Drivers Once you download your new driver, then you need to install it. To install a driver in Windows, you will need to use a built-in utility called Device Manager. It allows you to see all of the devices recognized by your system, and the drivers associated with them.

If you are having trouble finding the right driver, stop searching and fix driver problems faster with the Automatic Driver Update Utility. Many computer problems are caused by missing or outdated device drivers, especially in Windows 11. If your deskttop or laptop is running slow, or keeps crashing or hanging, there is a good chance that updating your drivers will fix the problem. Automatic updates could save you hours of time.
