Project Coordinator
Responsible: dissemination and communication. Ensures the overall management, and coordination of all project activities and represents the project within the Core Program of NIRDBS, in the relationship with the contracting authority (Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digitalization (MRID) and stakeholders. He contributes to the analysis and interpretation of the data necessary to assess the status of the herbal products trade.
Dr. Ancuța Cristina MANOLICĂ (RACLARIU)
Responsible: genetic identification. She carries out the procurement and conditioning of food supplements and the experimental DNA barcoding activities (DNA extraction, PCR, DNA sequencing, DNA sequence analysis, etc.). She contributes to the analysis and interpretation of the data necessary to assess the status of the herbal products trade.
Dr. Ruxandra Mihaela CREȚU
Responsible: compliance and quality. She will perform the experimental activities to obtain plant extracts, and also the phytochemical analysis by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and UV-Vis spectrophotometry. She will also contribute to the collection of data needed to assess the status of the food supplements trade.
Dr. Aurică Valentin GRIGORAȘ
Responsible: phytochemical identification / determination. He will perform the collection and conditioning of the reference biological material as well as experimental activities of UV-VIS spectrophotometry and GC-MS analysis. He will also contribute to the collection of data needed to assess the status of the food supplement trade.
Dr. Camelia Paula ȘTEFANACHE
Ad-interim project responsable
Responsible: transparency. Will perform the collection and conditioning of the reference biological material, as well as experimental activities for obtaining plant extracts and CSS and HPLC analysis. Will contribute to the collection of data necessary to assess the status of the food supplement trade.
Mădălina Oana POPA
Responsible: genetic identification. She is involved in collecting and conditioning the reference biological material and food supplements and participates in the DNA barcoding activities (DNA isolation, purification, amplification, and sequencing; DNA sequence analysis). She also contributes to analyzing and interpreting the data necessary to assess the status of the herbal products trade.
