SafeKidsRide helps drivers and parents track school or office routes, pickup and drop status, route timelines, and route safety notifications. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

Information We Collect

SafeKidsRide may collect or store the following information:

• Google account details, such as name and email address, used for sign-in.

• Mobile number and profile details entered by the user.

• Parent profile details, including parent name and child name, age, and gender.

• Driver profile details, including driver photo, driver name, mobile number, vehicle number, vehicle type, and emergency contact number.

• Pickup and drop location selected on the map.

• Driver live location while a route is running.

• Route activity, such as route started, pickup completed, drop completed, route completed, emergency alert, and timeline events.

• Device identifiers or advertising identifiers used by Google AdMob and related Google services.

How We Use Information

We use the information to:

• Allow drivers and parents to sign in and use the app.

• Create and manage school or office routes.

• Show live route location to approved parents.

• Notify parents about pickup, drop, route completion, delays, and emergencies.

• Show driver profile and vehicle information to parents connected to the same route.

• Maintain route timelines and daily route status.

• Improve app safety, reliability, and user experience.

• Display ads through Google AdMob.

Location Data and Background Location

SafeKidsRide uses location data to show the driver's live position during an active route. Driver location may continue to update in the background when the driver chooses to keep the route running in the background. This allows parents to continue seeing route progress until the route is completed or stopped.

Parent location is used only when selecting or saving a pickup/drop location on the map.

Children's Information

SafeKidsRide may store child names, age, gender, and pickup/drop location so parents and drivers can identify students on a route. This information is used only for route management, pickup/drop tracking, and route notifications.

Sharing of Information

SafeKidsRide does not sell personal information. Information is shared only as needed for app functionality. For example, approved parents may see driver profile and live route information, and drivers may see student names and pickup/drop locations for their own route.

Third-Party Services

SafeKidsRide uses third-party services that may collect information according to their own policies:

• Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication for account login.

• Firebase / Google Cloud services for route and profile synchronization.

• Google Maps and Places for map, route, and location features.

• Google AdMob for advertisements.

Children / Student Information

Children do not create accounts directly, parents provide child/student names and pickup/drop locations for route safety, and this data is only used for route tracking and notifications.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Deletion

Users can delete their account from the app menu. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email address below. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable time, subject to legal or operational requirements.
