The In Safe Hands a fund was established in loving memory of Patrick "Pazo" Rutayisire, a cherished father, devoted son, caring brother, partner, inspiring coach, former Rwanda national team goalkeeper, and beacon of warmth and kindness to loved ones across Rwanda, Canada, and beyond.

In 2023, we said goodbye to Patrick after his valiant battle with cancer. Through unwavering dedication to his community and the lives he touched, Patrick left an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to know him. It is with profound love and respect that we came together with a promise for Patrick and his family, to watch over his young son's future. This fund embodies that very promise—a commitment to supporting his son by providing him the means to embrace life's opportunities. 

The vision for In Safe Hands is not only to support Patrick's son future education, but also to nurture his passions and interests, be it athletics, the arts, or any other personal pursuit. Just as Patrick excelled on the soccer field, we aim to provide his son with the means to pursue his dreams and aspirations, empowering him to create his own path.
