In addition to monitoring software, it's crucial you update your device settings with inherent restrictions as well as extended ones. We've highlighted some of the basics below. Remember this is just one prong of a multi-prong approach to responsible digital safety. No one tool is the magic wand.

Control with Apple Family and Device Restrictions

Configure Ask to Buy and Screen Time Restrictions on Child Account

◦ Disable built in apps and/or prevent apps from being deleted

Create a Family on Google and create Child account or add supervision to existing child Google account

Setup Google Play controls for your child

◦ Set content rating restrictions

Setup Account Level Control with Pin

◦ Restricts content to specific maturity ratings

◦ Recommends content based on Child Profile
