Safe-Equip Engineers began in the year 1975. But the family is in this field since the 1940s as designers and manufacturers of mining machinery and safety devices/equipment.

Currently it's the third generation that's handling the business.

The initial products were Speed & Depth Indicators and Recorders, Power Brake Engine and Automatic Contrivance for Indian Coal mining companies. At the beginning the customers were primarily

Bharat Coking Coal Limited and Eastern Coalfields Limited.

Products that followed were -

Emergency Steam Stop Valve, Steam Regulating Valve, Pit Bottom Buffer, Ventilation fan, and many other products.

We are now working on digitized underground air quality monitoring system, new model of Pit Bottom Buffer and few more to add to our product line of safety equipment for mining winders and haulages.

All our products are indigenously designed and developed.

We have all the necessary design and manufacturing skills. Our success lies in the deep knowledge and skills that our team has developed over the years.

Considering advances in technology we have strived to inculcate it in our scheme of products and services. Also, we have been providing services on old mining winders and accessories and expanded our client-base.
