About Us
In life we can be influenced and motivated by many people. For me, my primary source of motivation is my mom. She always pushed me to continue learning, fulfill my dreams but most importantly to help others with what I know. Throughout my journey in life, my mom has been my strongest pillar. So when thinking of a name for a place where I want to motivate children to learn, the most fitting seemed to be to combine her name.
Hence, Sakina Zaffar became SAFAR (Urdu word for journey.)
Hi! I'm Manawara Iqbal (Mana), owner of Safar Tutoring. Learning and studying has always been an exciting experience for me. Years ago, a family friend spoke to my mom about how her daughters required support in completing homework assignments. Without hesitation, my mom volunteered me to help. I could still hear her words in my mind, "why look somewhere else when she's here to help. Watch your children will learn and pass the grade." My mom's confidence and our friend's trust in me led to my first tutoring session. From then on, tutoring children became a normal part of my daily life. Understanding their strengths, needs and personalities helped me build a strong foundation which today is my tutoring center.
