As a valued member of the SAES PTO, you have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of ways—whether it's serving as a homeroom parent, helping out at class parties, or joining a committee for a specific event or activity.
The SAES PTO runs on volunteer support. When we all pitch in, we can make sure school events and activities stay fun and meaningful for our kids. Even just a half-hour of your time can make a big difference!

Committees
The SAES PTO is always looking for people who want to help out with events and activities throughout the school year. One great way to get involved is by joining a committee, where you'll team up with others to plan and organize fun PTO events!
Requirements and Clearances
The Shaler Area School District requires that appropriate clearances be obtained, printed, and submitted to the school office prior to volunteering. Information regarding volunteering requirements/clearances is as follows:
ANYONE volunteering at the school will be required to sign/submit the following form to the Shaler Area Elementary School office on an ANNUAL basis
