Education:
Ph.D. Materials Engineering, Purdue University, 2021
B.S. Materials Science and Engineering, Shibaura Institute of Technology, 2016
I received my Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Purdue University and am currently an Assistant Professor at The University of Tokyo.
My research centers on the composition–structure–property relationships of high-temperature structural materials, particularly those designed for demanding thermal and mechanical environments.
My work combines physical metallurgy, high-temperature oxidation, microstructural characterization, and mechanical behavior to better understand how advanced alloys respond to extreme conditions. I am especially interested in bridging fundamental mechanisms and materials design for long-term structural performance.
