SADIQ AMIN PROPERTY ("we," "our," or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding information handling for the mobile application SpiceScale (the "Application").
SpiceScale is designed and distributed as a 100% offline culinary utility tool. We believe your recipes, spice proportions, and kitchen workflow belong solely to you.
We do not collect, store, transmit, harvest, or process any personal or sensitive user data.
No Personal Identification Information: The Application never requests, accesses, or records your name, email address, physical address, phone number, or billing information.
No Device or Telemetry Information: We do not collect device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID, MAC address), hardware details, operating system logs, diagnostic telemetry, or crash reports.
No Location Data: The Application does not request access to GPS, fine/coarse location data, or network-derived location data.
No Camera, Microphone, or Media Permissions: SpiceScale operates without requesting access to sensitive device sensors, media storage, or contacts.
Any custom batch settings, preferred measurement units (Grams, Ounces, Tablespoons), or configured sodium ratio thresholds are stored strictly on your local device using Android's local sandbox storage (SharedPreferences).
This data never leaves your device.
It is never transmitted to remote servers, cloud infrastructure, or external databases.
You can permanently remove all stored local preferences at any time by clearing the Application's storage or uninstalling the Application via your device settings.
The Application contains no third-party software development kits (SDKs), tracking pixels, ad networks, behavioral trackers, or analytics engines (such as Google Analytics or Firebase). Because no external network connections are established, no data is shared with or sold to third parties.
SpiceScale does not require, request, or utilize active internet access (android.permission.INTERNET). The Application functions completely offline at all times.
Because SpiceScale does not collect any personal data whatsoever, it is in full compliance with global child protection regulations, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Application is safe for users of all ages.
We may periodically update our Privacy Policy to reflect app updates or regulatory adjustments. Since the Application does not collect contact details to notify you individually, updates will be reflected by revising the "Effective Date" at the top of this document and distributing the updated policy alongside store releases.
