You will be asked to sign and agree to this contract at your first appointment, then will be emailed a copy.

CLIENT GROOMING AGREEMENT - SADIE’S SHED LLC

Aggressive or Dangerous Pets - Owners must inform Sadie’s Shed if their pet(s) have bitten, shown aggression, or may become aggressive toward people, other animals, or during grooming procedures. Muzzles may be used when necessary for safety and will not harm your pet. Sadie’s Shed reserves the right to refuse or stop services at any time before or during the grooming process if a pet poses a risk. An additional aggressive pet fee may be applied.

Health, Medical Conditions & Senior Pets - Grooming can be stressful, especially for senior pets or those with health issues. Grooming may reveal or worsen underlying medical conditions. For the safety and comfort of your pet, styles may be adjusted as needed. In the event of a medical emergency, Sadie’s Shed will make every effort to contact you first. If you cannot be reached, you authorize Sadie’s Shed to seek veterinary care from your preferred veterinarian or the nearest available clinic. You agree to cover any veterinary expenses incurred within 24 hours of the grooming appointment if treatment is deemed necessary.

Mat Removal - Pets with matted coats require extra care. Mats can tighten over time, causing discomfort, skin irritation, or even injury. Sadie’s Shed will not subject pets to unnecessary stress by excessive de-matting. Severely matted coats may need to be shaved. Risks involved include nicks, cuts, skin irritation, or exposure of pre-existing conditions such as sores, warts, or infections. Severe matting can also trap moisture and bacteria, leading to skin issues. After removal, pets may experience temporary skin sensitivity or irritation. Preventing matting through regular grooming is strongly recommended. Additional charges will apply for de-matting.

Accidents - While every precaution is taken, grooming involves sharp tools and there is always a risk of minor accidents such as nicks, cuts, scratches, or nail quicking—especially if a pet moves suddenly. If you arrive early, please do not excite your pet, as this can make grooming unsafe. Sadie’s Shed prioritizes safety, and if a pet becomes too stressed or excited, the session may be stopped. Full service charges may still apply.

Social Media - All pets that are groomed at Sadie’s Shed will possibly make an appearance on social media. Mainly instagram and facebook. Including before and after photos and grooming videos.

Hold Harmless Agreement - By signing this agreement, you release Sadie’s Shed, its owners, and staff from liability for any injuries, damages, or health issues that may arise during or after grooming, including those related to pre-existing or unknown conditions. You acknowledge that policies may change at any time without notice and will replace any previous agreements. This agreement applies to all pets groomed at Sadie’s Shed.
