My name is Sadie Crow, and I am an undergraduate alumnus at the University of Colorado Springs (UCCS). I pursued a degree in Geography and Environmental Science with a certificate in Geographical Information Systems (GIS Certificate). My academic journey began the summer after I graduated from Air Academy High School, the only high school situated on a military base in the United States.
I commenced my higher education at Pikes Peak State College in Colorado Springs, where I earned an Associate of Science degree. Initially intrigued by the field of mechanical engineering, I continued my studies at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY, where I consistently maintained a 3.5 GPA as an honors student. However, I soon discovered my true passion lay in the spatial and geographic applications of my knowledge. This realization led me back to Colorado Springs to focus on GIS, a decision that has brought immense satisfaction and fulfillment.
Throughout my academic career, I have applied my interdisciplinary knowledge to gain a comprehensive understanding of geographical sciences. This portfolio highlights some geospatial projects I have completed during my undergraduate studies, showcasing the tools and software that have been instrumental in my analysis, research, coding, and mapping endeavors. It specifies in human geography and social sciences. This portfolio will broaden my resume by adding important human geography concepts and analytics. As I continue my academic journey, I look forward to adding more projects to this collection, demonstrating my ongoing commitment to excellence in the field of GIS.
