I am a Research Consultant at the University of Chicago (UChicago). Prior to my current position, I served as a Predoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto (UofT) and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Business and Economics (CREB).
In my current role, my primary responsibilities revolve around data cleaning and analysis, project management, and designing survey instruments for two significant projects. These projects aim to unravel the reasons behind employers heavily relying on social networks for hiring and how performance pay contracts foster positive sorting among individuals.
My research is dedicated to improving the outcomes of vulnerable groups, including women, small farmers, and children. I have collaborated closely with microfinance institutions, health and education providers, with the overarching goal of deriving meaningful policy insights from these partnerships. Additionally, I utilize administrative data to gain insights into vote-buying behavior in wheat procurement.
I was also a valuable member of the Social Science Prediction Platform team, which facilitates the systematic collection of forecasts from experts. My role primarily involved designing surveys, data cleaning and analysis, and coordinating with research teams.
