1. Overview

SadevBCard helps users scan visiting cards, extract key details using OCR, save cards inside the app, and optionally save contacts to the phone. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Data we collect

A) Data you provide

Visiting card details you scan or type (name, phone, email, company, address, notes, etc.).
Card images (front/back) if you capture and save them.

B) Data stored on your device

Saved cards and extracted fields are stored locally in the app.

C) Backup to Google Drive (if enabled/used)

The app can create a backup file (e.g., .sbc) and upload it to your Google Drive to support backup/restore.
The app is intended to access only the backup file(s) it creates for SadevBCard.

D) Advertising data (Free version)

The free version shows ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID), IP address, and ad interaction data to show and measure ads.

3. How we use your data

To extract information from card images (OCR) and fill the contact form.
To save, edit, delete, search, and sort saved cards.
To perform backup/restore if you choose to use Google Drive backup.
To display ads (free version) and measure ad performance.

4. Permissions used by the app

Depending on your actions, the app may request:

Camera: to capture card images.
Photos/Media/Files (storage): to read/write card images and backup files.
Contacts: only if you choose “Save to phone contacts.”
Internet: required for showing ads (AdMob) and for Google Drive backup/restore when used.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data only with:

Google AdMob for advertising services in the free version.
Google Drive for backup/restore if you enable/use that feature.

6. Data retention

Saved cards remain on your device until you delete them.
Drive backups remain in your Google Drive until you delete them.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

8. Children’s privacy

SadevBCard is not intended for children under 13.

9. Your choices

You can edit or delete saved cards anytime.
You can choose whether to save contacts to your phone.
You can choose whether to use Google Drive backup/restore.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
