I am Professor of Labor, Technology and Market Power at the Department of Economics of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Research Fellow at Tinbergen Institute (TI, Amsterdam) and the IZA Network at LISER (IZA@LISER).

My fields of specialization are applied microeconometrics and applied microeconomics. My research focuses on the causes and consequences of labor and product market imperfections, shifts in the direction of innovation and market dynamics for both firms and workers.

I am the program coordinator of the Bachelor Economics and Business Economics and member of the Educational Quality Steering Committee ("Stuurgroep Onderwijskwaliteit, STOK") at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
