Decaying Photos for Enhanced Privacy: User Perceptions Towards Temporal Redactions and ‘Trusted’ Platforms [PDF]

We have proposed two temporal redaction methods to enhance user privacy while posting photos in the social media. These methods involve sensitive contents of a posted photo being decayed gradually so that the contents are not recognizable after a certain period. An academic paper on this work has been accepted in the 25th ACM Conference On Computer-Supported Cooperative Work and Social Computing (CSCW22).
