Topic: Built Environment SIG: Scaling up Retrofit and Funding Mechanisms
Organizing By: University of Cambridge Decarbonisation Network
Places for People - DREEAM project of this Organizer
There are an increasing number of calls to scale up retrofit to improve the energy performance of the UK’s building stock. This requires the consideration of multiple factors including: stakeholder attitudes, supply chain capacity, financial incentives and technical barriers. Panellists will discuss the practical realities of scaling up retrofit and what funding mechanisms are (or should be) in place to assist with this scaling up.
