text "SABBATH" to 864-637-9165 for latest time and location
While going to college we want you to have a Sabbath home and make friends with like-minded students.
As the only Shabbat and Holy Day congregation in the Clemson area, we invite college students from a variety of similar denominations or interests.
We also invite those who have not read the Bible and want to see what it actually says and harvest it's ageless wisdom. Get ready to be surprised!
Every Shabbat you'll praise, read Scripture and enjoy a fellowship meal. Sometimes we have Hebraic dance.
We issue Shabbat and Holy Day waivers/excused absences for school.
If you wish to volunteer, we'll give you a position ( i.e. Communications Director, IT Director, Director of Event Programming, Director of Music, etc.). You can use it for your school outreach requirements or on your resume'. We'll write recommendations.
Our Hazzan (co-ordinator), Chris Spangenberg, has two degrees, graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University and worked for CU providing services for math graduate students. She will do her best to help you navigate the challenges of getting your college degree. Call her day or night if you have a problem or question.
