This Privacy Policy explains how Inspirational Klicks handles information when you use the Sabbath School Android application.
By installing or using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
The App does not require users to create an account, sign in, or provide a name, email address, phone number, home address, or payment information.
The App allows users to create:
Bookmarks
Personal notes
Underlined passages
Reading preferences
Downloaded lesson content
This information is stored locally on the user’s device. We do not upload, collect, or have access to the contents of users’ bookmarks, notes, or underlined passages.
The App’s search feature processes quarterly title searches locally. Search queries are not intentionally transmitted to us.
The App may store the following information locally:
Selected language
Theme and reading-display preferences
Text size and font preferences
Bookmarks, notes, and underlined passages
Downloaded lessons and cached content
Basic counters used to manage how frequently advertisements appear
This information remains on the device until you delete it through the App, clear the App’s storage through Android settings, or uninstall the App.
The App connects to the internet to retrieve Sabbath School quarterly and lesson content.
When the App communicates with an online content server, the server or its hosting provider may automatically receive technical information normally included in an internet request, such as:
Internet Protocol address
Device or browser user agent
Date and time of the request
Requested lesson or content file
Network connection information
This information may be processed for content delivery, security, troubleshooting, and server maintenance.
The App displays banner and interstitial advertisements through Appodeal, an advertising mediation service.
Appodeal and participating advertising partners may automatically collect or process information such as:
Advertising ID and similar device identifiers
Internet Protocol address
Device model and manufacturer
Operating system and application version
Language, time zone, and general device settings
Mobile network provider and connection type
App launch, session, and advertisement interaction information
Advertisement impressions, clicks, and related activity
Diagnostic and device-performance information
Approximate location inferred from an IP address
The App’s core features do not require GPS location. Location information may only be available to an advertising provider when permitted by the device, applicable permissions, consent choices, and the provider’s configuration.
Appodeal and its advertising partners may use this information to:
Deliver and measure advertisements
Limit advertisement frequency
Provide personalized or non-personalized advertising
Detect invalid traffic, fraud, and security threats
Analyze advertisement and SDK performance
Comply with legal obligations
Depending on the user’s location, Appodeal may display a privacy or consent form before using information for personalized advertising. Users who decline personalized advertising may still receive non-personalized advertisements.
The App does not ask users to declare their religious beliefs or affiliation. However, because the App provides religious educational material, use of the App may indicate an interest in religious content.
Advertising providers may receive general application and advertisement interaction information as described above. We do not provide advertising partners with the contents of personal notes, bookmarks, or underlined passages.
Information processed through the App or its service providers may be used to:
Download and display quarterly and lesson content
Save user preferences on the device
Support bookmarks, notes, and underlining
Provide offline reading
Display and measure advertisements
Maintain security and prevent fraudulent activity
Diagnose technical problems
Improve reliability and performance
Comply with applicable laws and legal requests
We do not sell the contents of users’ bookmarks, notes, or underlined passages.
Technical and advertising information may be processed or shared with:
Appodeal
Advertising networks participating through Appodeal
Content-hosting and network-service providers
Security and fraud-prevention providers
Government authorities when required by law
Advertising-related disclosures may be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a similar activity under certain privacy laws.
The App may allow users to share lesson content through Android’s system sharing function.
When a user chooses to share content, it is sent to the application the user selects, such as an email, messaging, or social media application. The selected application handles that information under its own privacy policy.
We do not control how third-party applications process information users share.
Bookmarks, notes, underlined passages, preferences, downloaded lessons, cached content, and advertisement-frequency counters are retained locally until the user:
Deletes the applicable item within the App, where available;
Clears the App’s storage through Android settings; or
Uninstalls the App.
Because this information is stored locally and is not associated with an online account, we generally cannot access or remotely delete it.
Appodeal, advertising partners, content hosts, or other providers retain information they process according to their respective privacy policies and legal obligations. Submit requests about information held by those providers directly to the applicable provider.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App. Network content and advertisements are transmitted using the security mechanisms supported by their service providers.
Personal annotations are stored within the App’s local storage. Users should protect their devices with appropriate security measures, such as a screen lock and updated operating system.
No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users may control their information by:
Editing or deleting bookmarks, notes, and underlined passages;
Clearing the App’s data through Android settings;
Uninstalling the App;
Managing advertising privacy and Advertising ID settings through Android or Google settings;
Responding to an advertising consent form when one is presented;
Contacting us regarding privacy concerns.
Limiting personalized advertising does not necessarily remove advertisements. Users may continue to receive non-personalized or contextual advertisements.
The App provides religious educational material for a general audience, and some lesson editions may also suit younger readers.
The App does not require account registration and does not knowingly request children’s names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other direct contact information. Notes, bookmarks, and underlined passages are stored locally, and we do not intentionally collect them.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise children’s use of the App. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us through a support request, please contact us so that the information can be reviewed and deleted where applicable.
Appodeal, advertising partners, and hosting providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country of residence. These countries may have different data-protection laws. The applicable service provider's privacy policies and legal safeguards govern such processing.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s features, service providers, advertising practices, or legal obligations change. We will post changes on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Users are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
