The chairs are not scripted to customize themselves, however, you can use the viewer built-in buid feature to modify and customize all objects of this product. Several textures are provided in the box to help with customization. All meshes are made with many texture faces to provide ways to customize them further by changing colors of parts, or textures. Changing the actual textures (other than the decals) is not recommended unless you also change the material textures as well. Some basic building skills are required.
The chairs are not scripted for animations, as they use the default sitting mechanics of Second Life, however, you can add any sitter script / system to it and adjust it accordingly to your need and taste. Being a single mesh piece, this should not be too complicated to do so.
When linking objects to the chair, make sure to select the chair last before linking, that way when sitting, avatars will sit on the chair.
Chairs are a single piece, no problems to add and remove things.
All chairs have rectangle decal surfaces on the backrest, invisible by default.
You can make these surfaces visible, make custom decals, or use the preset decals. Press Ctrl+Alt+T to see invisible surfaces.
Use the viewer build window to change texture of the decals or the cover. Make sure to checkmark "select surface" first, so you change just one surface and not the whole object. Can keep shift key pressed to select/deselect multiple faces.
All non-decal texture surfaces has custom materials textures. If you are changing textures, make sure to change the materials too, or remove them, to prevent visual problems.
