DVSwitch + AllStarLink + Echolink On a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W

Step 1
SSH to the node (Pi Zero 2W) using MobaXterm. Login ID is repeater and Password is allstarlink.

Step 2
Type below command in the console command prompt
wget http://dvswitch.org/buster

Step 3
It will download some required file from that URL

Step 4
Type below command and hit enter

sudo chmod +x buster

Step 5
Then type below command and hit enter

sudo ./buster

Step 6
This command will install DVSwitch repository.

Step 7
Type below command and hit enter
sudo apt-get install dvswitch-server 

Step 8
You will see it is downloading and installing binaries.
It will pause and ask for continuation. Please type Y and hit enter to continue. 

Step 9
Installation will finish and it will go back to initial command prompt.

Step 10
Now you need to reboot the node (Pi Zero 2W).
Type sudo reboot and hit enter.

Step 11
Wait for few minutes and SSH to the node (Pi Zero 2W) by MobaXterm software. Once connected and goes to command prompt, please type dvs and hit enter.

Step 12
This will bring initial setup menu of DVSwitch software. Select <No> and hit enter.

Select 01 and hit enter

Step 14
Select <Yes> and hit enter

Step 15
Type your Call Sign and hit enter

Step 16
Type your DMR ID and hit enter

Step 17
Type your DMR ID along with 2 digit number and hit enter. By default it puts 11 after your DMR ID, you can keep it as it is.

This option is for DStar and by default it is B. You can keep it as it is and hit enter.

Step 19
This will ask for a NXDN ID, keep it blank if you don't have and hit enter.

Step 20
Type USRP port as 50100 and hit enter.

Step 21
Now you need to select your local BM server, you can select number 30 BM_3102_United_States and hit enter.

Step 22
Type your BrandMeister Selfcare password and hit enter. If you are not sure about BM Selfcare password, please google it.

Select 4 No Hardware Vocoder and hit enter

Step 25
Select <Yes> and hit enter

Select <Ok> and hit enter

It will go back to the previous menu

Select 02 Advanced Configuration and hit enter

Select option 21 and hit enter

Type 145.0000 as RX frequency and hit enter

Type 145.0000 as TX frequency as well and hit enter

Type 1 as Power and hit enter

Type Latitude according to your location and hit enter

Type Longitude according to your location and hit enter

Type 0 for Height and hit enter

Type your city name and country name according to your location and hit enter.

Keep the description as it is and hit enter

You can change the URL pointing to your QRZ profile or keep as it is and hit enter.

Select <Ok> and hit enter

It will go back to the previous menu. Select option 25 and hit enter.

It will go back to the previous menu.

Select option 05 and hit enter. This will exit from the menu and close the setup wizard.

Now you need to login to your WiFi Router to configure a port forwarding so that your node (Pi Zero 2W) can be accessible from BrandMeister servers and from your mobile phone while you are out side of your home under 4G network. In some router configuration it mentioned as virtual server.

For BrandMeister please create a port forward configuration and forward TCP/UDP port 50100 to your node IP (192.168.1.110). My node IP was 192.168.1.110 but your one may be different. So please check before your create the configuration.

Additional Information
To verify your node is connected to BrandMeaster network, you need to login to BrandMeister portal and check in the hotspot section. You should be able to see your node number is green and up.  Below is the  web address  for BrandMeister.

Once you login, go to My Devices section and look for your node number (your DMR ID plus two digit)
