Capacity-Building Workshop for Preparing Competitive NSF S-STEM Proposals

Virtual Workshop (via Zoom)

Workshop Dates: June 10-11, 2021

8:00 AM- 5:00 PM PDT

This workshop project, supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF), is providing support to two-year colleges (2YCs) to prepare competitive proposals with for submission in 2022 to the NSF Scholarships in STEM (S-STEM) program. This opportunity is open to qualified US 2YCs, with an emphasis on those in the states of WA, OR, CA, NV, AZ, UT and ID.

The project has a strong focus to support institutions eligible for submission to Track 1 of the S-STEM program (no prior NSF S-STEM or STEP grants received), but serious consideration will be given to colleges with S-STEM grants awarded 7 or more years ago (Award ID starting with "14" or lower).

In addition to the June 2021 virtual workshop, applicants selected to participate will be engaged in pre-workshop preparations via online webinars and other means, along with a series of post-workshop webinars and office hours to support the development of their proposals through submission.
