Recommendation:

Polyp II is perhaps the piece in the most precarious condition. A gap in the backing has allowed a translucent goo to form on the left side and running into the gap at the wall.

We recommend forming a committee to determine: 1) what steps need to be taken to preserve the work long term, 2) how we want people to see this work for the next ten years, 3) how we will be honest about the interventions we have made into the work especially considering that the piece is about survival and evolutionary responses to the past.
