Professor
Prof. Yong-Seok Lee
Prof. Lee interests span the areas of bulk / thin film mechanics and advanced manufacturing to understand the mechanical behavior of materials at different length scales and environmental conditions. He focused on developing experimental techniques (fatigue tester and micro-tensile tester at elevated temperatures), understanding high-temperature deformation mechanisms of polycrystalline materials, and performing finite element analysis of structural systems and electronics packaging.
Prof. Lee received a B.S. from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2010, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2012 and 2017, respectively. Prior to joining Myongji University, he served as a post-doctoral researcher at Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), a senior manager at SK Hynix, and an assistant professor at The University of Suwon.
