Research interests
Currently my research interests fit into the applied functional analysis and operator theory framework. More specifically, they revolve around methods of Hilbert spaces in control-oriented analysis of dynamical systems. This subject embraces such topics as Hardy spaces, Carleson embeddings, Lp spaces of vector valued functions or Hankel/Toeplitz and composition operators.
I also have expertise in such areas as measures of noncompactness and fixed point theory applied, in particular, to controllability and observability analysis of nonlinear infinite dimensional dynamical systems.
Subjects related to mathematical modelling, optimal control and hybrid systems resurface occasionally.
On applications side I am interested in modelling and control system design for distributed parameter systems. This includes active vibration control in flexible structures like robotic arms or machine casings.
