Entry #1

I think my favorite part of this entire trip to this park was the unique terrain. The rocks within the park truly take such an incredible form that is unlike anything i've ever seen before. The intense cliffsides made me feel so small and reminded me of the true vastness of the world. With that, there were sme people that were just setting up at the bottom to go climbing along this aggressive terrain. This was an interesting experience to watch from afar and just see the true versatility that this park holds. 

I came across a bridge pretty quickly on my way into the park. This was such a peaceful place to just slow down and take in the world around me. I stopped on this bridge and just watched nature take place around me. There were people passing by talking about their lives, pointing out wildlife to their children. This bridge was just the bgeinning of a hike that I went on, walking through and exploring the park to get a feel for what new things and new areas I may want to see in my future entries. 

There is a large river that runs through the middle of this canyon. I had a great time watching the rushing water from the bridge overhead. There were many people down by the water fishing with their families, by themselves, with friends. It seems to be the perfect place to decompress. I am so grateful for the ability to travel to thi spark and see the vast variety of physical activity that people are able to be a part of in this park. Whether you are looking for somewhere to just have a gorgeous Colorado view, or to unwind after a demanding week, El Dorado Canyon is an incredible choice.
