My family hails from Idaho's Snake River Valley, although I grew up in Payson, Arizona. In graduate school, I valuably contributed to an intermural softball championship in the role of team photographer. I somewhat less valuably contributed during several other seasons at first base and outfield. My other less academic interests include ice cream, baking (particularly pies), ranking things, and the Greater Sage-Grouse. I also enjoy proselytizing favorite papers and books, as well as hearing about others' favorites. If you have any recommendations, let me know!
