Ryan A. Mannion

Student • Georgetown University Class of 2020

I am a current undergraduate senior majoring in Linguistics and German, and a first year Master's student in Computational Linguistics. My linguistic interests lie primarily in syntax and morphology, and how computational linguistics can help to model natural language. I am very intrigued by applications of Machine Learning in Natural Language Processing, and am actively trying to learn more: I am a part of NERT and participate in a weekly Computational Linguistics reading group. I am currently working on research projects related to speech processing in German and Multi-Word Expressions in English. I control German with a high proficiency and hope to one day learn Modern Irish. Please don't hesitate to reach out! Below you will find ways to get in touch with me.

Be sure to check out the 'Projects' page of my website to see what I am up to!
