My name is Ryan Shìjié Dù (杜世杰) (why do I spell my name this way).

I am a Ph.D. Student in Atmosphere Ocean Science and Mathematics at the Center for Atmosphere Ocean Science, Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University, advised by Oliver Bühler and Shafer Smith.

Before that, I obtained my Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Philosophy at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
