Produced a research paper on the concept of catastrophe in medieval histories produced by Anglo-Saxon England and Byzantium
This research paper employs analysis of both the primary and secondary sources, even looking at the histories in their original languages to perform literary analysis.
Presented this research in a 30-minute seminar at the end of the semester.

Producing a 15-20 page research paper on the development of Anglo-Saxon legal codes and their relationship to modern theories of legal development, such as the Legal Transplant theory developed by Alan Watson.
Senior Honors Thesis
Working on a 40-50 page research paper on the rise of Anglo-Saxon legal codes and their historical context.
Political Theory of the Polish Renaissance
Pursuant to this goal, Mr.Sheehan is studying Polish at approximately a B1 level. He has been awarded 2 FLAS Fellowships and a POLONICUM scholarship from the University of Warsaw to attend their Summer Workshop.
