Ever since I was a little kid as a northeast New Jersey native, I have had a keen interest in looking up at the sky and observing the weather. Then, after my father put on The Weather Channel during one fateful day in August of 2005, that interest became an unwavering and inspiring passion.
Hurricane Katrina battered New Orleans on August 29th, and as I watched The Weather Channel coverage, I couldn’t help but think how amazing the power of what 150 + mile per hour winds were capable of. However, I also couldn’t help but recognize how meteorologists like Jim Cantore and Stephanie Abrams risked their own lives to save countless others.
This pivotal point in my life made me the biggest weather fanatic to everyone I had met over the next 12 years, until I was accepted to The Pennsylvania State University.
After four years of countless memories and a bunch of “WE ARE” chants, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology and Atmospheric Science from Penn State in May of 2021.
Right around graduation, despite dealing with a global pandemic, I persevered with an abundance of support and landed a spot at KMID / KPEJ as The Weekday Morning Meteorologist.
From severe thunderstorms to snow and dust to hail, I experienced almost a little bit of everything in West Texas for three years. Then, as of June of 2024, I moved next door to The Land of Enchantment at KRQE, working once again as a morning meteorologist.
I’m excited to provide forecasts for the state and southwest Colorado, as I’m looking forward to exploring the area!!
