1.2 We are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect your personal information and process your data in accordance with the IT Act, 2000. (Hereinafter referred to as “Act”) and the IT Amendment Rules, 2023. (Hereinafter referred to as “Rules”)
1.3 The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the information of / provided by any Users visiting the Website is stored in accordance with the applicable laws and rules. The information stored in such a manner shall be protected by Us via a secure server software, which is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure transactions.
1.4 Personal data consists of all information related to an identified or identifiable natural person, this includes, e.g. names, age, phone numbers, pincode,email addresses, contractual master data, contract accounting, and, which is an expression of a person’s identity.
1.5 We collect, process, and use personal data (including IP addresses) only when there is either a statutory legal basis to do so or if you have given your consent to the processing or use of personal data concerning this matter, e.g. by means of registration.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT:
2.1 We collect, process and use data such as voice data collection for the purpose of developing automatic speech recognition systems.
2.2 Depending upon the activity you wish to carry out on the Site, the information provided to Us shall be identified either as mandatory or voluntary. An activity which requires information to be mandatorily provided shall not be engaged if You abstain from providing such information.
2.3 Personal Information: This includes the information that can be used to uniquely identify or contact You. In order to avail the services provided by Us, We may collect a variety of Personal Information, including but not limited to, Your name, age, gender, email address, pincode, education level, mobile number, occupation and native language.
2.4 You are required to ensure that Your contact information and preferences are accurate, complete and up to date by logging into Your Account. We shall also make reasonable efforts to provide You with the opportunity to request correction of data relating to Your Personal Information if the same is inaccurate or delete the data.
2.5 The Company is also vested with rights to decline requests which we find to be contrary to the terms laid down under this Privacy Policy.
2.6 The information you provide to Us shall be confidential.
2.7 By accepting the Terms and Conditions of “Read with SPIRE” You are granting permission for Us to recognize speech.
2.8 The Company may also collect and analyse Your speech to help us understand the effectiveness of lessons provided by Us.
2.9 The information provided by You shall also be used to communicate necessary account and service related information from time to time.
2.10 The information provided by You shall be confidential and the User has an option to update the Confidential Information by using the “Contact US” option on the App.
3. LIVE SPEAKING:
3.1 If you opt for the ‘Recording’, We shall use Your microphone throughout the session.
3.2 These audio lessons shall be stored in the App of the Company and it shall be deleted when the Account of the User is deleted.
4. ACTIVITY DATA:
When You use the Service provided by the Company App we may generate data about Your use of the Service which may include but not be limited to browser and device data, log data, IP address and data regarding engagement in educational services.
5. INFORMATION PROCESSING:
Your personal information shall also be saved to improve the Service provided by Us. For instance, Personal Information such as the phone number, voice, pincode, age, and othe details will be used to access the accent variations and also for speech recognition research works. However, anonymity shall be maintained. All of the data collected from the User is and will only be limited to the App and the stakeholders involved in its making. User’s progress shall be saved in the database and it can only be viewed by the stakeholders involved in the making of the Application and the same shall be mapped to the E-mail address provided to us.
6. LINKS TO THIRD PARTY WEBSITE:-
The App may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites, including any personal or financial information collected by third-party payment processors. We encourage users to be aware of the privacy policies of other websites they visit. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by Us. Any time you click on a link (including advertising banners) or submit your personal information to a third-party website, you will be subject to that third party’s privacy policies.
A Third Party Provider, known as Firebase shall be used for Authentication purposes and the Terms and Conditions of the Third Party provider can be viewed at https://firebase.google.com/terms.
7. PRIVACY POLICY UPDATES:
We may update Our Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Our Information Practices. Policy updates shall be mentioned on the Website at least 15 (fifteen) days prior to the implementation of the new Policy.
8. JURISDICTION:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes, claims, questions or disagreements arising out of or relating to this Agreement, including all non-contractual disputes and claims which cannot be settled amicably by Parties shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Bengaluru Courts.
