Model validation

Observed flow data

The observed flow should be provided for the flow validation. The flow observation file should have a least three columns: Year, Month, Q.

The user can choose the unit of the observed data. The unit of the observed flow could be mm or m³/s.

The validation plot

Both monthly and annual validation results will be plotted in the "model validation" tab.

An example of the validation result is followed.

The goodness-of-fit measures include Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Percent Bias (PBIAS), Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency (NSE) and Coefficient of Determination (R²).
