My Pin Collection: Some people collect mugs, t-shirts, shot glasses, patches, etc but I needed something smaller. Pins are great because they are small, lightweight, cute, and you can usually find them easily and fairly inexpensively. I display ours on felt boards in our hallway. I wove embroidery floss behind them to keep everything in a spiral chronogoical pattern. I also stamp blank circles with dates to mark the start of each trip. They make a great conversation piece as well as decoration and record of our trips. I get a pin if we stay overnight somewhere, visit a State/National Park, or see an animal in the wild!
