Prior to checking out books at Ridgeview students and parents are asked to sign a contract agreeing to taking care of the books checked out, returning them on time and in good condition. In addition, parents agree to pay to replace the book if it is damaged beyond repair. Below, please find an Book Check-out information page as well as a copy of the contract.

Kindergarten-- Students check out 1 book every week (A-D rotation). This book remains at school.
1st and 2nd Grade--Students check out 2 books every week (A-D rotation). Depending on the parent request the books may or may not go home. If students are taking their books home, they are asked to keep books in their backpacks whenever they are not reading them. This will help students return books on time so they can check out every library class.
3rd-5th Grade -- Students check out up to 3 books every other library class (approximately every other week). The longer check out period enables students to have adequate time to read their books. Depending on the parent request the books may or may not go home. If students are taking their books home, they are asked to keep books in their backpacks whenever they are not reading them. This will help students return books on time so they can check out every library class.
