Local Organizations

The Virginia Native Plant Society: monthly meetings on the first Thursday of September through April at 7:00 PM in the Education and Library Complex of the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. 

Wild Ones: a national organization with a local Richmond chapter.  Their focus is native plants for home gardening.  Meetings are in person and on zoom. https://greaterrichmondva.wildones.org/about-us/

Virginia Master Naturalists: Looking to volunteer? Master naturalists are volunteer educators, citizen scientists, and stewards helping Virginia conserve and manage natural resources and public lands. They do more than just plants!  Virginia has 30 chapters, 3 chapters in the Richmond area.
