Privacy Policy for RV Systems Log
Last updated: September 15, 2026
RV Systems Log ("the App") is an offline-first recreational vehicle (RV)
maintenance and pre-trip check application developed and published by an
independent developer. This Privacy Policy explains what information the
App handles, how it is handled, and the limited circumstances in which
information leaves your device.
By installing or using the App you agree to the practices described below.
1. Summary
The App is designed to work fully offline. It does not require you to
create an account, does not require you to sign in, and does not upload
your RV records, checklists, reminders, costs, photos, or backup files
to any server operated by the developer.
The only data that leaves your device is:
(a) advertising requests handled by Google AdMob (only in the free
tier), and
(b) in-app purchase verification handled by Google Play Billing (only
when you tap the Pro upgrade button).
If you do not use the free tier (for example, you upgrade to Pro, which
removes ads) you will not exchange data with AdMob.
2. Data the App Stores Locally on Your Device
All of the following are stored only on your device, inside the App's
private storage area. The developer does not have access to them.
- RV profiles (nickname, year, make, model, mileage, photo, notes)
- System maintenance records (date, mileage, cost, notes, photos)
- Pre-trip checklist runs and seasonal checklist runs
- Local reminders and notifications you schedule
- Backup archive (.zip) files you create and save yourself
- App preferences (locale, units, theme, Pro status)
You can delete any of the above at any time using the App's built-in
edit and delete controls, and you can remove everything by uninstalling
the App or by clearing the App's data in your device settings.
The App's backup feature creates a zip file that you, the user, choose
where to save (device storage, cloud drive of your choice, messaging
app, email, etc.). The developer does not receive that file.
3. Data That Leaves Your Device
3.1. Advertising (free tier only)
The free tier displays banner and interstitial ads served by Google
AdMob. When an ad is requested, the following information is sent from
your device to Google's ad servers in order to deliver and measure ads:
- A pseudonymous advertising identifier provided by Google Play
Services (the "Advertising ID")
- General device and app information such as device model, operating
system version, locale, IP address, and app version
- Ad performance events (impression, click)
Google AdMob may use this information to select ads, to frequency-cap
ads, to detect fraud, and to compile aggregated statistics. Google may
also use the Advertising ID to show personalized ads based on your
interests inferred from your prior app usage; you can reset or delete
the Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device's
Google settings ("Ads" / "Advertising").
The App configures AdMob with a "General audiences" content rating
(MaxAdContentRating.G). The App is not directed at children.
For full details about how Google handles this data, see Google's
Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
and the AdMob data practices page:
https://support.google.com/admob/answer/10122827
3.2. In-app purchase (Pro upgrade only)
When you tap the Pro upgrade button the App communicates with Google
Play Billing on your device to:
- Display the official Google Play purchase dialog
- Verify your purchase
- Persist a "Pro owned" flag in your local App data
Purchase information (order ID, product ID, purchase token) is handled
by Google Play under Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. The
developer does not see your name, email, payment instrument, or
billing address. Google returns only a non-personal purchase token
to the App, which is stored locally.
For full details, see Google Play's privacy disclosures:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
4. Data the App Does NOT Collect
To be explicit, the App does not:
- Create a user account or require sign-in
- Collect your name, email, phone number, or address
- Upload your RV data, maintenance records, checklists, reminders,
or photos to a developer server
- Use third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Flurry,
or Mixpanel)
- Use third-party crash reporting SDKs (such as Firebase Crashlytics
or Sentry)
- Track your location (no GPS, no coarse location permission is
requested)
- Read your contacts, calendar, call log, SMS, microphone, camera
roll (the in-app image picker only opens a system picker for you
to choose one image at a time), or other personal data
- Communicate with any server operated by the developer
5. Permissions Used by the App
The App requests only the permissions it actually needs:
- INTERNET: required so AdMob can fetch ads in the free tier and so
Google Play Billing can process the optional Pro upgrade. The App
does not otherwise use the network.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: required on Android 13+ so the App can show the
reminders and due-date alerts you schedule.
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM: required so due-date
reminders fire at the time you choose.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: required so scheduled reminders survive a
device reboot.
No location, contacts, camera, microphone, storage, or background
location permission is requested.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for adult RV owners and is not directed at
children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital
consent in your country). The App does not knowingly collect personal
information from children. AdMob is configured with the "General
audiences" content rating.
If you believe a child has used the App in a way that resulted in
data being sent to a third party, please contact the developer using
the details in Section 10.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR,
California under CCPA/CPRA, Brazil under LGPD), you may have rights
to access, correct, delete, or export personal information held
about you. Because all of your RV data is stored locally on your
device, you can exercise those rights directly:
- To export your data, use the in-app backup feature (it produces
a .zip file containing all of your records).
- To delete your data, uninstall the App, or use your device's
"Clear app data" function for this App.
For data held by third parties (Google AdMob, Google Play), please
use the controls provided by Google, or contact Google directly.
If you wish to opt out of personalized advertising on this device,
open your device Settings -> Google -> Ads and enable "Opt out of
personalized advertising".
8. International Data Transfers
Because the App itself does not transfer your RV data to any server,
no international transfer of your RV data occurs.
Data exchanged with Google (AdMob requests, Play Billing requests) is
transferred to and processed by Google on servers that may be located
outside your country. Google's handling of that data is governed by
the Google Privacy Policy linked in Section 3.
9. Changes to This Policy
The developer may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for
example when the App's features change or when legal requirements
change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be
revised when changes are made. Material changes will, where required,
be communicated through the App or through the Google Play listing.
Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of
the revised policy.
10. Contact
If you have questions, comments, or requests regarding this Privacy
Policy or the App's data practices, please contact:
Contact person: lvsh

You can also find the current support contact information on the

11. Governing Frameworks
This Privacy Policy is designed to be consistent with:
- Google Play User Data Policy
https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/9888077
- Google Play Console "Data safety" form requirements
- EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act
(CCPA/CPRA)
- Brazil Lei Geral de Protecao de Dados (LGPD)

Where this Policy and a mandatory provision of applicable law
conflict, the law prevails.
