New York native and long-time California resident, Ruth Roth, has always been a prolific artist. Whether it be drawing, painting, jewelry making, producing mixed-media, sculpting, or doing computer graphics - her restless hands never cease to create. She studied art at both Stanford University and San Jose State University.  While at Stanford University, she notably worked with painters, Nathan Olivera and Keith Boyle, as well as with the sculptor Richard Randall.

Displayed on this website are examples of her most recent creations.  These include:

*Sculptures* -- These are bird abstractions made from “found objects,” mainly driftwood and weathered-wooden fragments accumulated at beach fronts and hiking trails. These bird sculptures were assembled from multiple pieces that were pegged and glued together.

*Collages* -- Clippings from various found print sources.

*Mosaics* --  Assembled and glued pieces hand-cut from colored cardboard.
