Why Volunteer

Have you ever wanted to be involved with camp? Interested in Girl Scouting but never had a chance? Well this is it. You don't need to have been a Girl Scout before, you just need a passion for working with kids while outdoors. 

If you are not yet a member of Girl Scouts you will need to register with them and pass a background check. There will be 2 online trainings to complete and one in person training specifically about leading at day camp. 

If you are new to scouting one of us will give you a call to talk about what volunteering at camp means. 

As a benefit to volunteering with camp, we provide a tagalong unit for your non girl scouts (providing we have enough leaders to make this happen). Tagalongs are girls not yet old enough to join and boys up to the age of 10. They must be potty trained.
