About Me

I am a published and peer-reviewed professional translator specializing in the research and translation of Yiddish literature, texts, and newspaper articles. I've worked on a wide range of Yiddish translation projects, and I have a special love for the older, 19th century to turn-of-the-century Eastern European Yiddish works.

My work includes Yiddish to English translations of Yiddish documents, yizkor (memorial) books, literature and poetry. I can work with Yiddish materials that are typed (no handwritten requests, please). 

I also do Yiddish to Spanish translations. I produce the initial translation draft, and then coordinate with a native Spanish speaker to ensure the final text is written in a cohesive, natural Spanish.

I am the proud grandmother of three beautiful granddaughters (all taller and smarter than I), and two amazing cats.
