In order to play this game you will need tons of stuff that will help you progress to the top. It's not as easy as it sounds though. Hitting barrels to gain supplies, farming tons of wood/stone/metal ore to build/upgrade your base then when all that's done you got to hit barrels again till you find the resources to make a tier 1.

Crafting stuff in this game is important such as crafting meds,weapons,tools it can go on but in order to craft the stuff needed you will most likely need a tier 1 tier 2 or tier 3 workbench. Some things you can craft without a workbench but you can't live in rust without at least one workbench.

Supplies in this game are fought over a lot…. But in order to get the supplies you need you must do lots of farming anything such as barrels. If you farm 10 barrels that you see you will get a lot of supplies and you can use those supplies to make stuff but just make sure you bring it back without getting killed..
