Ulyanovsk State University, founded in 1988 as a branch of the Moscow State University. M.V. DINING The refectory of USU is a subdivision, which subordinates to the President of USU. Meals for faculty members, staff and students are provided in all buildings of the university. Currently, there are 17 cafeterias located throughout the buildings of USU for 770 seats. On average, about three thousand people visit refectories and canteens every day, food products are certified. The city, founded as Simbirsk is the birthplace of Vladimir Lenin (born Ulyanov), for whom it was renamed after his death in 1924, and Alexander Kerensky, the leader of the Russian Provisional Government that was overthrown by Lenin during the October Revolution of 1917.
