Welcome to Russian 011, “Experience Russian”! Over the course of the semester, you will engage in a variety of events that will enhance your understanding and appreciation of Russian language and culture. Through this course, you will have the opportunity to experience Russian through a variety of interactive contexts, e.g. cooking group meals, reading trending news stories, going on excursions, hearing from guest speakers, participating in holiday celebrations, learning traditional songs and dances, etc. This course is conducted in English, but students will be exposed to Russian within the context of these various cultural experiences.
